Soccer Recap: La Joya Community Plays to a Tie

For the first time since back in December of 2024, La Joya Community was forced to settle for a draw on Thursday. Neither they nor the Centennial Coyotes could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Nathan Soto and Diego Godoy scored both of La Joya Community's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

With that draw, La Joya Community's record moves to 5-6-2. As for Centennial, they moved theirs to 4-4-1.

La Joya Community didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Copper Canyon on the 21st. As for Centennial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 6-4 loss against Sunrise Mountain on the 21st.
