Meanwhile, Gallatin County didn't have quite enough to beat Henry County on Wednesday and fell 57-55. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss Gallatin County has suffered against Henry County since January 13, 2021.

Simon Kenton's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 23.2 points. As for Gallatin County, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5-1.

Simon Kenton was able to grind out a solid win over Gallatin County in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, winning 71-63. The rematch might be a little tougher for Simon Kenton since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
