            Softball Recap: Chicago Christian Knights vs. Bulls College Prep Bulls        
        
		
        
        
            Chicago Christian had lost 16 games straight , but after bumping their record up to 2-17  on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Bulls College Prep Bulls 18-3. With that  victory, the Knights brought their scoring average up to 6.1  runs per game.

Chicago Christian let  Brenna Schaafsma and  Madi Hamilton run wild. Schaafsma  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI, while  Hamilton  went a perfect 3-for-3 with four  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run. Those  four  RBI gave  Hamilton a new career-high.  Olivia Voss also deserves some recognition as  she  scored her first  run of the season.
 Chicago Christian was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .500. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bulls College Prep only posted a  batting average of  .333.
As for Bulls College Prep, their loss was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 8-9. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by  exactly 15  runs.
 On Bulls College Prep's side,  Mya Cruz made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 Coming up, Chicago Christian will be playing at home against Marian Central Catholic  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Bulls College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
