Basketball Recap: Molly Bratton's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Battle Creek over East Hickman County

Battle Creek lost against East Hickman County back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Grizzlies fell 53-43 to the Eagles. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Battle Creek lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Molly Bratton, who posted 14 points and seven steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Audrey Woolridge, who scored eight points and eight rebounds.

Battle Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for East Hickman County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
