Softball Recap: Waterloo Takes a Loss

Waterloo and Woodland squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Waterloo had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 3-2. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Waterloo's loss dropped their record down to 26-16. As for Woodland, they have been performing well recently as they've won 26 of their last 31 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 34-9 record this season.

Waterloo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Woodland, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 7-6 victory against Leroy on the 14th.
