Soccer Recap: Greene County Comes Up Short

Greene County managed to slip by Athens Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers came up short against the Eagles on Monday, falling 6-0. The contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Greene County struggled afterwards.

Greene County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Athens Christian, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-8.

Looking ahead, Greene County will challenge Upson-Lee at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Athens Christian, they will take on Washington-Wilkes at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Athens Christian are facing Washington-Wilkes at the right time seeing as Washington-Wilkes are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
