Volleyball Game Preview: Elizabeth Minutemen vs. Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders

The Elizabeth Minutemen will head out to face off against the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Elizabeth comes in on nine and Scotch Plains-Fanwood on six.

On Monday, Elizabeth beat Union 2-0.

Meanwhile, Scotch Plains-Fanwood earned a 2-0 win over Oratory Prep on Wednesday.

Scotch Plains-Fanwood's victory was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-2. As for Elizabeth, their record is now 12-1.

Elizabeth came out on top in a nail-biter against Scotch Plains-Fanwood in their previous matchup back in April, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Minutemen since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
