Soccer Recap: Pocomoke Comes Up Short

Pocomoke lost against Bennett back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Warriors lost 10-3 to the Clippers. While losing is never fun, Pocomoke can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland soccer rankings (they are ranked 80th, while Bennett are ranked 13th).

Pocomoke's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bennett, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Pocomoke has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Snow Hill on the 12th. As for Bennett, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 7-3 victory against Crisfield on the 15th.
