Enderlin falls despite strong effort from Ayden Glarum

Recap: Enderlin Eagles vs. Hatton/Northwood Thunder

The Enderlin Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 52-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hatton/Northwood. Enderlin lost against Hatton/Northwood in their previous head to head last Saturday, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 62-33 score last time.

Despite the loss, Enderlin still got an impressive performance from Ayden Glarum, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for him. Brenan Bartholomay was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds.

Enderlin's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Hatton/Northwood, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Enderlin will face off against Richland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Dakota (Richland is ranked 87th, while Enderlin is ranked 93rd). Hatton/Northwood will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Cavalier at 7:15 p.m. on January 8th.
