Softball Recap: New Milford's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

New Milford won the last time they faced Bunnell and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Green Wave walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Bulldogs. The win was nothing new for the Green Wave as they're now sitting on three straight.

The team relied heavily on Cienna McNamara, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.

New Milford's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Bunnell, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. New Milford is set to face off against their familiar foe Weston at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Bunnell will challenge rival Masuk at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
