Soccer Recap: Lugoff-Elgin Comes Up Short

After soaring to nine goals the game before, Lugoff-Elgin was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They lost 7-0 to the Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles. The Demons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the War Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

Lugoff-Elgin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Lugoff-Elgin wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, an 8-6 loss against Providence on the 4th. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-0 win against Midland Valley on the 3rd.
