Volleyball Recap: Berkeley's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Berkeley had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Encinal Jets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Berkeley was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-10, 25-20.

Berkeley's record now sits at 9-6. As for Encinal, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Berkeley is set to square off against their familiar foe Piedmont at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Encinal will challenge rival Castro Valley at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
