Softball Recap: Carol City's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Carol City can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Dr. Krop Lightning with a sharp 17-1 victory.

Carol City's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Dr. Krop, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Carol City will be playing in front of their home fans against Homestead at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Homestead will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Carol City surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dr. Krop, they will face off against South Dade at 6:30 p.m. on March 13th.
