Baseball Recap: LaGrange Comes Up Short

LaGrange was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 17-2 to the St. Martinville Tigers.

LaGrange's defeat dropped their record down to 3-20. As for St. Martinville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-15.

Coming up, LaGrange will challenge Abbeville at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.47 runs per game on average), something the Gators will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for St. Martinville, they will square off against Westminster Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
