After a string of four wins, Frostproof's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Davenport Broncos. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 0-0 to the Broncos when the teams met back in October of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Frostproof was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22.

Hannah Windham paced Frostproof's offense, picking up four kills. Windham really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 15. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Frostproof's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Davenport, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-2.

Frostproof didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Haines City on the 30th. As for Davenport, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Ridge Community on the 1st.
