Volleyball Recap: Hardin Northern Comes Up Short on the Road Against Mccomb

Hardin Northern had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the McComb Panthers by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Polar Bears have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Hardin Northern actually scored more points across those five sets (105-100), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-22, 25-19, 17-25, 16-14.

Baylie Bacon paced Hardin Northern's offense, picking up 13 kills. Bacon got some help from Kendall Frank and her 30 assists. Morgan Stewart controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Hardin Northern didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Lima Senior on the 19th. As for McComb, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against St. John's on the 19th.
