St. Bernard had won three straight games and Trenten Hagler did his part to make it four on Friday. The Crusaders blew past the Montgomery Vikings 50-14 for which the team can thank Hagler, who threw for 141 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 passes, and also rushed for 111 yards and one score on only eight carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Special teams played a big role in the game for St. Bernard's, adding 19 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Kuron Devlin, who ran a punt back for a touchdown. Another bright spot was a kickoff return touchdown from him.
