Soccer Recap: Charles J. Colgan's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matches, Charles J. Colgan finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They fell 2-0 to the Gainesville Cardinals. Charles J. Colgan were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Gainesville apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Charles J. Colgan fell to 5-1. As for Gainesville, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2-1.

Coming up, Charles J. Colgan will be playing at home against Potomac Senior at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Charles J. Colgan will be up against Potomac Senior's rather soft defense (which has allowed five goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Gainesville, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Freedom at 7:00 p.m. on May 2.
