Volleyball Recap: Jacksonville Christian Academy's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Jacksonville Christian Academy came tearing into Monday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Wellborn Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Thunder this season.

Jacksonville Christian Academy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-15, 25-18.

Leading Jacksonville Christian Academy to victory were Addy Lee and Mollie Mullinax. Lee had 17 digs, nine kills, three blocks, and two aces, while Mullinax had 12 kills, seven digs, four aces, and three blocks. Those seven digs gave Mullinax a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sophie Williams, who had 18 assists and six digs.

Jacksonville Christian Academy's record now sits at 4-1. As for Wellborn, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Looking ahead, Jacksonville Christian Academy will take on Faith Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wellborn, they will square off against Randolph County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
