Softball Game Preview: Farragut Admirals vs. Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors

The Farragut Admirals will head out on the road to face off against the Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Farragut is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Farragut's offense. They came up short against Alcoa on Wednesday, falling 10-0. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Admirals, who until this game were averaging three runs allowed.

Meanwhile, Christian Academy of Knoxville narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past White County 4-2.

Christian Academy of Knoxville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Farragut, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-5-1.

Farragut suffered a grim 10-2 defeat to Christian Academy of Knoxville in their previous matchup back in April of 2016. Can the Admirals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
