Volleyball Recap: Teague Takes a Loss

Teague was the 3-0 winner over Eustace when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. While the Lions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bulldogs 25-20 in the first set.

Teague started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-14, 15-11.

Teague's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Eustace, they pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Teague has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Elkhart on the 23rd. As for Eustace, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Scurry-Rosser on the 23rd.
