Basketball Game Preview: Brownstown/St. Elmo Bombers vs. Greenville Comets

The Brownstown/St. Elmo Bombers will challenge the Greenville Comets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Greenville took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Brownstown/St. Elmo, who comes in off a win.

Brownstown/St. Elmo is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took down Pana 64-46 on Saturday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brownstown/St. Elmo to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dayana Haslett, who went 13-for-26 en route to 31 points and seven steals. Thanks to that strong game, Haslett now owns an excellent 46.9% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Madi Miller, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 15 boards.

Brownstown/St. Elmo smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Greenville had to suffer through a 54-25 loss at the hands of Father McGivney Catholic.

Greenville's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Brownstown/St. Elmo, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
