Volleyball Recap: Anderson Cubs vs. Trinity Wolves
Anderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Trinity Wolves. While the Cubs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wolves 25-20 in the first set.
Anderson started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final set scores wound up at 20-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-19.
Trinity got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Braelyn Nugent out in front who had 16 kills and 13 digs. Another player making a difference was Bailey Dimas, who had nine digs and three aces.
Anderson's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Trinity, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
