Baseball Recap: Gulf Shores Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Gulf Shores had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Baker Hornets. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Dolphins have posted since March 28th.

Gulf Shores' victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-12-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Baker, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-13.
