Soccer Recap: Crested Butte Takes a Loss

Crested Butte entered their matchup against Manitou Springs on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Titans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. Crested Butte have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crested Butte's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3-2. As for Manitou Springs, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crested Butte will welcome Bayfield at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Manitou Springs, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against The Vanguard School at 6:00 p.m.
