Volleyball Recap: Cross Lanes Christian Takes a Loss

Cross Lanes Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against Grace Christian, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Grace Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on September 11th.

Cross Lanes Christian was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-23, 25-21.

Cross Lanes Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Grace Christian, their win bumped their record up to 4-9.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Cross Lanes Christian will face off against rival Ignite Athletics at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Grace Christian is set to take on their familiar foe Wood County Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
