Hendersonville faced Beech in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Commandos put the hurt on the Buccaneers with a sharp 8-3 victory. Considering Hendersonville have won ten matchups by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Hendersonville has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those five games. As for Beech, they moved to 11-5-2 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.

Hendersonville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Beech, they will square off against Franklin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Franklin will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Beech surely won't give up without a fight.
