Softball Recap: New Brockton Comes Up Short

New Brockton was the 15-7 winner over Geneva County when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. New Brockton took a 13-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of Geneva County on Saturday. The Gamecocks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New Brockton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Geneva County, they pushed their record up to 6-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, New Brockton will take on Kinston at 5:00 p.m. on the 31st. As for Geneva County, they will challenge Graceville at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
