Softball Game Preview: Jellico Blue Devils vs. Oneida Indians

Jellico is on a six-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Oneida a six-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Jellico Blue Devils will be playing in front of their home fans against the Oneida Indians at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Jellico fell victim to Wartburg Central and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 17-0 to the Bulldogs.

Oneida couldn't beat Oliver Springs on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the second inning. The Indians came up short against the Bobcats, falling 22-4.

Brailey-Grace England made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaidance Lewallen, who got on base in both of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Oneida's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Jellico, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
