Basketball Game Preview: Danville Warriors vs. Harrison Raiders

Danville is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Friday. They will welcome the Harrison Raiders at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Saturday, Danville humbled Indiana Math & Science Academy North with an 85-47 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Danville's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Carter Ward, who went 5-for-11 en route to 12 points along with five assists and four steals, and Ray'Von Martin, who posted 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Oliver Riggs, who had nine points and seven rebounds.

Danville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 20 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Harrison posted their closest win since January 10th on Saturday. They slipped by Lafayette Jefferson 41-40.

Danville's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Harrison, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
