Volleyball Recap: Bishop Miege Comes Up Short

Bishop Miege was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saint Thomas Aquinas Saints. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Stags of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13.

Liv Stevens paced Bishop Miege's offense, picking up four kills. Stevens got some help from Maryn Dean and her eight assists.

Bishop Miege's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Saint Thomas Aquinas, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Bishop Miege and Saint Thomas Aquinas will both be playing Blue Valley Northwest the next time they take the court. The Stags will host the Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Saints will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
