Softball Recap: Steinmetz College Prep Comes Up Short

Steinmetz College Prep lost against Intrinsic last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Silver Streaks came up short against the Mustangs, falling 16-4. The Silver Streaks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Deja Kirk made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Steinmetz College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Intrinsic, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Steinmetz College Prep will welcome Phoenix Military at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Intrinsic, they are taking a road trip to square off against North Grand at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs are facing the Eagle Owls at the right time seeing as the Eagle Owls are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
