With a playoff win on the line, George County rose to the challenge  on Saturday. They walked away with  a   10-7  win over the Neshoba Central Rockets. This was a revenge game for the Rebels: when they faced off against the Rockets  on Wednesday, they had to take a  7-6  defeat.
The team  relied heavily on  Jordyn Bradley, who  went 2-for-4 with two  triples, two  RBI,  and one  run. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in April.  Blakey Slay was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 George County  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least two batters  in three consecutive  games.
George County is  on a roll lately: they've  won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 34-3 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Neshoba Central, their loss dropped their record down to 25-11.
As of now, neither George County nor the Rockets have any future games scheduled.
