Volleyball Recap: North Stokes Comes Up Short

North Stokes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Patrick County Cougars, falling 3-0. The Vikings were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-11, 25-16.

Patrick County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madison Scott, who had five aces and three digs. That's the most aces Scott has posted over her last eight matchups. Journey Moore also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

North Stokes' loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Patrick County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Stokes will welcome South Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Patrick County, they will take on Carroll County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
