Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cole). They were the clear victors by a 23-17 margin over the D'Hanis Cowboys on Monday. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 9-3 win the Cowboys walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Deborah Garza, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, seven RBI, and four runs. Those seven RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Zoe Foy, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4.

Cole always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .674. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as D'Hanis only posted an OBP of .500.

Cole picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 4-11-1. As for D'Hanis, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Cole has already played their next contest, a 12-1 win against Randolph on the 25th. D'Hanis has also already played their next game (against Sabinal), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
