Softball Recap: Maynard's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Maynard can now relate to. They fell just short of the Georgetown Royals by a score of 4-3 on Saturday. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Maynard saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryleigh Raschi, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Maynard's loss dropped their record down to 20-4. As for Georgetown, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Maynard nor Georgetown have any future games scheduled.
