Football Recap: Eureka Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Eureka had lost three straight on the road, but on Saturday they dropped down to 1-4 to make it four. They were dealt a 43-6 loss at the hands of the St. Bernard's Crusaders. The Loggers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crusaders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

As for St. Bernard's, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 40.8 points this season.

Trenten Hagler was his usual excellent self, throwing for 174 yards and three TDs while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also rushing for 34 yards. Kuron Devlin got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Eureka is set to face off against their familiar foe Del Norte at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, St. Bernard's will square off against rival Fortuna at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
