Softball Recap: Episcopal Has No Trouble Against False River

The matchup between Episcopal and False River on Tuesday hardly resembled the 0-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Knights blew past the Gators 21-15. Considering the Knights have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Episcopal's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-7. As for False River, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.

Looking ahead, Episcopal will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Baker at 4:30 p.m. The Buffaloes have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.73 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for False River, they will take on Central Private at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
