Burlingame posted their closest victory since January 18, 2024 on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wakefield Bombers, sneaking past 50-47. The Bearcats didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Wakefield lost, don't look at Allison Adams. Despite the final result, she posted 26 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. What's more, Adams posted five steals, the most she's had since back in February of 2024. Grace Rohrer was another key player, putting up seven points and eight boards.

Burlingame's victory bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Wakefield, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-11.

As of now, neither Burlingame nor Wakefield have any future games scheduled.
