Softball Recap: Viborg/Hurley Takes a Loss

Viborg/Hurley was the 12-8 winner over McCook Central/Montrose when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars came up short against the Fighting Cougars on Friday, falling 9-3. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Viborg/Hurley's record is now 4-10. As for McCook Central/Montrose, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8.

Coincidentally, Viborg/Hurley and McCook Central/Montrose will both be playing Colman-Egan the next time they take the field. The Cougars will host the C-E Hawks at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Fighting Cougars will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
