Baseball Game Preview: Northern Burlington Greyhounds vs. Moorestown Quakers

The Northern Burlington Greyhounds are taking a road trip to face off against the Moorestown Quakers at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Northern Burlington is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Northern Burlington barely beat Cinnaminson the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Greyhounds were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Pirates on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Greyhounds, who have now won seven contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Moorestown fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Bishop Eustace Prep on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 3-2. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Quakers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Moorestown's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Northern Burlington, they pushed their record up to 11-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Northern Burlington came out on top in a nail-biter against Moorestown when the teams last played back in April of 2022, sneaking past 9-8. Will the Greyhounds repeat their success, or do the Quakers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
