Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Emery Jones and Aubrey Kimball Lead Cornerstone Charter to Victory + How To Watch

Cornerstone Charter barely beat Randleman the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cardinals were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers on Wednesday. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Cornerstone Charter was led to victory by Aubrey Kimball and Emery Jones. Kimball had 13 digs and two assists, while Jones had five digs. Kimball has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times she's played. Ashley Belland also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Cornerstone Charter's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Randleman, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Coming up, Cornerstone Charter will be playing in front of their home fans against Bethany Community at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give the Cardinals their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Randleman, they are taking a road trip to square off against Lexington Senior at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
