Classical Academy had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Mission Hills Grizzlies. That's more bragging rights for the Caimans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Classical Academy was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (103-100), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-17, 13-25, 22-25, 15-13.

Classical Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Mission Hills, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Classical Academy and El Camino will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mission Hills, they will be playing at home against Rancho Buena Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
