Softball Recap: Forest Hill Takes a Loss

If Forest Hill was feeling good fresh off their 15-0 takedown of Leonard last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons came up short against the Palm Beach Central Broncos on Monday, falling 16-1. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Broncos recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Murphie Ockunzzi made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one run.

Forest Hill's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Palm Beach Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Forest Hill and Palm Beach Central will both be playing Seminole Ridge the next time they take the field. The Falcons will head out to face the Hawks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Broncos will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
