Soccer Recap: Sheldon Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Sheldon couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Davis Sr. Blue Devils on Friday, falling 5-2. The loss continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now lost eight in a row.

Raghib Jami and Johann Aguilar scored both of Sheldon's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Sheldon's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Davis Sr., their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3.

Sheldon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Davis Sr., they will take on Central Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Central Valley will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Davis Sr. surely won't give up without a fight.
