Volleyball Recap: Salado Triumphs

The Salado Eagles beat the Cedar Park Timberwolves 3-1 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 21-25, 25-16.

Despite the loss, Cedar Park still got an impressive performance from Anna Kurz, who had 26 digs and three aces.

Salado's win bumped their record up to 18-12. As for Cedar Park, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 19-12.

Salado and Cedar Park should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Eagles (ranked 108th) will meet Jarrell (ranked 1013th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cedar Park will challenge Lockhart at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (56 vs. 968).
