Baseball Recap: Farmersville Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Farmersville can now relate to. They came up short against the Minarets Mustangs on Friday, falling 12-2. The Aztecs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2015.

Farmersville's loss dropped their record down to 9-12-2. As for Minarets, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-18.

Farmersville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Minarets, they will challenge Legacy Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight.
