Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Sullivan

Sullivan waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the St. James Tigers 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Sullivan was: they took every set by at least 16 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-6, 25-7.

Sullivan's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ava Todd, who had 13 assists and three aces. Another player making a difference was Kloe Greife, who had six aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Sullivan was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Sullivan's victory bumped their record up to 8-5-1. As for St. James, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Sullivan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against New Haven on the 25th. As for St. James, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Union on the 25th.
