Basketball Recap: East Fairmont Takes a Loss

East Fairmont lost against Elkins back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The East Fairmont Bees fell 50-37 to the Elkins Tigers. The Bees have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, East Fairmont saw an underclassman step up: sophomore River Mcclain posted 12 points and seven rebounds.

East Fairmont's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Elkins, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-9.

East Fairmont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 62-48 loss against Preston on the 25th. As for Elkins, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-39 defeat against Washington on the 1st.
