Volleyball Recap: Loretto Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Loretto entered their tilt with Lewis County on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-1 win last Tuesday.

Loretto had a senior duo take command as Ella Potts had 23 assists and nine digs and Taylor Laws had eight digs and three aces. Potts is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Loretto was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They are 15-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Loretto's victory bumped their record up to 19-24. As for Lewis County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-7 record this season.

Loretto wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Summertown on the 7th. Lewis County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
